Mr JSxley is known to be one of the most practical and successful dairy farmers on the coast. His returns for milk at the Kiverdale factory ar „ probably a record for New Zealand. Mr. Exley attributes us success to the fine strain of Jerseys he was fortunate enough to procure. Ihe whole of his herd averaged the splendid return of 2701bs of butter-fat tins season, to the end of April. The 16 pure-bred cows which the auctioneers are to offer comprise Mr. Exlcy's purebred cows, and the farmers of New Zealand are offered a splendid chance of securing animals of the finest milking stram. The vendor guarantees that nearly every animal is registered in the New Zealand Jersey Herd Book, and those that arc not in the Herd Book ■ are eligible and an application for cntrv ias been made.
