TWO BARQUES FOUNDER. SEVBX MEN MISSING.

A CREW'S SUFFERINGS. Hobart, June 25. A boat containing Captain Lindstol and six members of the crew of the Norwegian barque Orleans, bound from Seychelles Islands to Dunedin with a cargo of guano, reached Macquarrie Heads last night and reported that the barque had foundered twelve days ago. Another boat containing the mate and six sen men is missing. The captain state's that the Orleans' when 200 miles off the Tasmaninn coast opened out, commenced to leak badly, and that lie was obliged to abandon her.

The crew took to the boats, which were well equipped with food and water.

The 'weather wits exceptionally rough and the crew suffered great privations. Those who landed are very weak. They state that the boats kept together till Wednesday afternoon.

A sharp look-out is being kept for the boat still missing. She is presumed to he off the coast.

A second disaster occurred at Adventure Hay, It soemslhat the barque Natal Queen was finishing loading timber when heavy weather canre on and caused her to ground on the rocks and fill. The crew of nine landed safely. The latest reports show that the vessel is' likely to 'be a total wreck.

■FRUITLESS PUMPING. Received 20, 0.5 a.m. Hobart, iJunc 25. Captain Orleans states that the vessel sprang a leak 1)00 miles off Tasmania. It sailed 700 miles with the pumps going night and day. She sunk half an hour after the crew left her. . The Mahhiapua is keeping a look-out for the missing boat.
