CKAUDOCK—KEXXUDY. A quiet hut pretty wedding was eelcliiaied by the Rev. Father Macmaiuis on Monday, dime 21st. the contracting parties being Cecile .Maude, eldest, '.laughter of Mr. James Kennedy, Durham road, ani| Charles Joseph' (irey. only son of Mr. U S. Craddock, of Christclinrcli. The bride, who was given away .by her father, was A'tylishly attired in a tailor-made costume' (a brown, with dark green and .mauve stripes), and wore a pretty "Merry Widow" hat, trimmed nvith tiny pink roses. She was attended bv Miss Kate Brick, of Rappnga (a cousin of the bride), as bridesmaid, who wore a pretty dross. Empire fashion, and pretty picture lint. Mr. William Stephens, of Durham road, acted in the capacity of host man. After the ceremony Mr. and Jjr.y. Kennedy entertained a number of guests (chiefly relatives) to a sumptuous breakfast, which was laid on their wide verandah. The Boy. Father Maomauus proposed the toast of tlie .bride and bridegroom. The bridegroom suitably responded. The nowlv-wcdded paid left r oy the afternoon train for Hawera, on route to Palinerston, Wellington and Xapior, where the honeymoon i* to be spent. The bride wore a handsome s'et of furs, the gift of the bridegroom. Many hnndsome and useful presents were received.
