Waihoki Hack Hurdles, ly., miles.— Diplomatic (10.4) 1, Ra.wb.itf (10.2) 2, Forest (11.10) 3. Also started: Andrew Mack, Monsieur, Beaucaire, Pukehou, No Shot. Won by three lengths. Tiiu2. 2min. SOl-Ssec.

Park Steeplechase, about 2% miles.— Lingerer (10.7) 1, Coy (9.7) 2, Needlework (10.4) 3. Also started: Post Haste (10.2), Eldorado (9.13), Gold Shower (9.7). Gold Shower had a strong lead for over a. mile, when it was overtaken by Lingerer, who was not afterwards troubled, winning by twenty lengths.
