MR HOGG'S RETIREMENT

A PUBLIC MEETING. , By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Mr; A. W. Hogg addressed a crowded meeting in the Totwa Hall to-night. He , gave an explanation of hie retirement from the Ministry and expressed his ■views regarding land monopoly and State currency. He trusted they would organise and form, if necessary, a land ■, ' and labor league,'a league which would , gather in strength everywhere and have branches in every part of the Dominion. ~ The workers had the ball at their feet \ if they liked to kick it. They had been ;,',. dormant too long. -f A resolution of thanks and commending Mr. Hogg's action was carried unan- < imqusly. Mr. Hogg had an attentive tnd appreciative hearing throughout.
