THE PRESS DELEGATES
THElll TOUR OF SCOTIA. Received June 24, 0.45 p.m. London, June 24. The Students' Union of Edinburgh University breakfasted the Imperial Press delegates. Many colonials were present. The visitors afterwards proceeded to Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace. Lord Provost Gibson presided at a Corporation luncheon. Mr. Mark Cohen (editor of the Dui.edin Star) thanked tile city for the hospitality extended to the delegates, and commented on tho pointy that Duned'J derived its name from Edinburgh.
Mr. Berkeley said Australia was languishing for lack of immigrants. In the afternoon tho delegates viewd the " Scotsman" offices, and attended a garden party given by Mr. John Findlay (proprietor of the "Scotsman") at Morton Hall. 1
The delegates spent the evening at the Marine Gardens at Portobello, afterwards visiting Musselburgh, where they presented a New Zealand flag to the children of the town. ,
