A DISPUTE WIT I [ SEAMEX. By Telegraph.—Press Association, Wellington, Thursday. 1 rouble lias arisen over the engaging of a crew at Wellington for the steamer Jndravelli, which arrived /from Vancouver, via Aucklaua last Tuesday. During the time she was chartered liy the Alley Line her seamen were paid £7 a inmitli. The crew from Vancouver signed off yesterday, and the captain offered £4 10s a month to a number of men to join the ship for the trip to Manila. None, however, would sign <n unless promised £7 on to .Manila and until their return to New Zealand. The captain is again negotiating today with some of the unemployed to join the vessel. -
