A ROUGH PASSAGE. Sydney, Wednesday.—The Wnrrunuo, ■which arrived shortly before michiigh t, experienced an exceptionally rough passage all the way across the Tasman , Sea. SCOW DISMASTED. Auckland, Wednesday.— The scow Welcome, bound from Russell to the Great Barrier, was dismasted on Holiday evening, the mainmast being snapped off a few feet above the deck, and tire fore topmast and the main boom smashed. THE OSBHUNGA SERVICE. It is expected that the Rarawa will complete her annual inspection at Auckland to-day, and sail for O.iefr.unga. She will leave the latter port on Sunday for Sfew Plymouth, and will then continue her usual rtmning. Ou arrival at Onelronga °n Saturday the Taknpuna, which has been relieving the Rarawa, will withdraw from the service and sail from Onehnnga direct to Wellington. The Sjs.' Nairnshire completed hot loading at Waitara on Saturday moi -i----ing. The cargo taken from Waita:':i was as f0110w5:— 2343 quarters beef, 2918 carcases' mutton, 100 casks tallow. 300 boxes frozen sundries. The s.s. Pitoitoi, which went ashore at Marakapa owing to the loss of licr rudder, reached Waitara on Saturday morning, none the worse for the mishap. Tie Kotuku is due here this morning . from Greymouth, Via Onehunga, with 430 tons of coal.' The Kapiti is due at the breakwater from Westport this morning with a cargo of coal. EXPECTED ARRIVALS.
