Bates' general weather forecast:—Westerly winds', strong ta gßle, are probable generally, with gqsalljr and unsettled weather, especially oa all the western coast. The barometer has Ibeen rising slowlv today, bat a fall is probable soon in the southern districts, for more wintry weather to follow.
