MEET INC, OF PROTEST. 'M'AKCII ON PARLIAMENTARY BUILDINGS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Lusl Night. The, Town Hall was '.packed to the doors to-night, when a meeting was held to .protest against the postponement of Parliament. The speakers were: Messr.s llerdman, Eisher and Wright, M.P's, Dr. Newman (.Mayor of Wellington), and J. (1. W. Aitkcn (ex-.M.P.) The meeting was rather rowdy, it being apparent that man)' hundreds were there for entertainment. A resolution mas adopted protesting against the postponement' of the session. At the close of the meeting Mr. Aitken suggested they should march to Parliament Buildings and make a demonstration. This was ta*ken up iu a rather half-hearted fashion. The mob that went down was flapped at the gates, where, after i. Tittle bother, Mr. Eisher advised them to go home.
