FROM ST. LOUIS TO THE GULF o':' MEXICO. AN ADVERSE REPORT. Received June 13, 4 p.i". New York, June 12. Tlie Hoard of Engineers reported to Congress adversely with regard to a deep waterway from St. I.ouis to the Gulf of Mexico. Tliev estimated the cost at 128 million dollars, and the mutual maintenance at 0 millions.
