Tlie Foresters' Hall, Gill Street, presented a happy appearance last evening on tile occasion of the second anniversary of the Hope of. Egmont Juvenile Temple (X. 24) 1.0. G.T. There was a large attendance of members and visitors. The Temple was opened in tae usual way by liro. C. Crone, C.T., assisted by Bro. X. T. Maunder, S..I.AA'., and Bro. J. Tiekner, assistant S.J.AV. Bro. G. AV. Hartneil, C.T. of Egniont Lodge, and Rev. Guy were also on tile platform. The following programme was rendered: Pianoforte solo, Hiss M. Sole; songs (2), Miss Gilbert; recitation, Bro. L. Pepperell; songs (2), Baden Moverley; recitation, Sister Winnie Hartneil; song, Alias G. Bluiielictt; recitation, Sister ]. Connett; song, Sister A. Locsc.li; recitation, Bro. A. Ptppcr.cH. The superintendent, Bro. N. T. Maunder, then read his report, which stated that there had been a. total of 102 boys and girls received into membership, of which 13 had been drafted into the adult lodge, 5 had resigned and left the district, and now the •membership was (15. The aim of the order was to "reclaim the fallen and save others from falling." It was belter to fence the top of the cliff than to keep an ambulance to pick up the wreck at the bottom. Members and friends tlien adjourned to the supper room, where liberal refreshments had been provided by Mr. R. A. Stokes, of the Hygienic Bakery. The singing of the Doxology brought a very successful meeting to a close.
