WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last- Night. Following is Rev. D. C. Bates' general ■weather foretast: Easterly winds,' fastening to a gale, with heavy r.iin, are probable north of the East Cape, Taupoiind Raglan for a cyclonic movement due shortly. It may extend over ■the North IK'land, and also affect the East Coast of the South after 36 hours, "as pressure in weakening ever.where. Westerly winds, moderate to strong, are probable in the me&ntime over the 'South, but there are indications that the glass will not fall so much in the South as.in northern parts. Changeable ■weather may be expected generally.
