MINERS' CONFERENCE.
DEMAND FOR AX EIGHT-HOUR DAY. Berlin, June 4. The International Miners' Conference at Berlin congratulated the British miners on the passing of the Eight Hours Act, and insisted that the hours should be reckoned from hank to bank, ft demanded similar legislation for other countries and tic restriction of a working day to isix hours Where the temperature is' 82 degrees.
