The first interprovincial match of the season was played here to-day between Wellington and Wanganui, the home team winning by 28 to 3. The first half was fairly close, Wellington scoring six to Wanganui's three. The visitors fell right away in t'lie second half. ■SEVEN-A-SIDE TOURNEY. Palmerslon N., Thursday. The seven-a-sidc tournament of the Manawatu Rugby Union attracted a good attendance. Palnicrston North dub won iboth senior and junior.
