UNDERWRITERS' COMPLAINT. Received June 4, 11.10 p.m. London, June 4. The principal underwriters insuring Australian produce requested Mr. CogliInn (Agent-General for New ,Soutn Wales) to make representation to tin 1 Australian Government regarding the unsatisfactory manner of handling frozen meat in Australia. The underwriters intimate tlmt unless the Government enforces better handling they will lie compelled to discontinue underwriting altogether or raise the rates to such an extent as will make business impossible. I They suggest compulsory inspection at the ship's aide and insulated conveyances between the freezing works and ship, as is done in New Zealand.
