THE FLOUR COMBINE.
THE CHAIRMAN* INTERVIEWED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christehurch, Last, Xi«ht. Seen today, the. chairman of the Flour MillenV Association (Mr. .11. Wood) stated that no new developments had occurred jn connect ion with the organisation. Matter- now in hand would require some little time to adjust themselves, mid until that had been accomplished, the position would remain unchanged. In reference to the statement by a local corn dealer that the Association was shipping away bran and sharps at 35s les 6 per ton than the price charged locally, Mr. Wood explained that the extra amount was due to the fact that the trade locally demanded such by-products in sacks going twenty to the toil. The outside trade wanted sacks going twelve to the ton. and the difference in price was due to that alone.
