The Parnell Licencing Committee decided to refuse the license, of the Star ,and (tarter and llelier's Hay Hotel. Auckland, Last Xig'nt. Tlic two hotels, the Star and Uarter at I'anniiire and the St. lleliers at St. lleliers Hay |n popular watersiilv resort), which the Parnell Licensing Committee decided to-day should be closed both belong to Messrs. Hancock and Co. The two hotels are estimated to represent a money value of £sooo—the St. lleliers house being worth CMJOO anil the Paninnre Hotel C?J)0fl.
