At Ilawerj yesterday, R. Grylls, licensee of the Royal Hotel, was charged with exposing liquor for sale »n a Sunday. The Magistrate said Sunday trading was a very serious offence." He would not endorse the defendant's license, but lie would tell Mr. Grylls that lie must take warning; if the defendant came before the Court again on a similar charge he would not he let oil' so easily.
