At the annual meeting of the Ne\> Zealand Football Association to-night, the following officers were elected:— Patron, His Excellency the Governo.; president, Sir Joseph Ward; vice-pre-sidents, Hou. Auckland, Sunday. The Auckland Rugby Union's district championship matches were continued to-day in perfect weather. In the senior grade Poneomby beat Parnell by 33 points to 3; City beat University by 25 points to 8; and Grafton beat Newton by 9 points to 6. CJiristohurch, Sunday. N STBATFORD FOOTBALL INQUIRY. " . To the Editor. Sir,—The inquiry into the conduct 01 the Stratford first junior football team whilst in New Plymouth on the 20ta mat. having been held, I am enclosing herewith a cutting of the evidence taken from Jihe Stratford Evening Post, which is correct in every detail. I also enclose a copy of the decision of the committee in connection with the matter. I should be extremely obliged if you will kindly give same the lullest publicity, and would particularly request that the final proceedings appear jn your columns,—l am, etc., E. H. \'oung, Hon. Sec. At the adjourned meeting of tde Stratford Management Committee, neld on the 28th inst., the committee, afte-: reviewing the evidence and deliberating thereon, passed the following resolution: "That with respect to the charges ot alleged misconduct on the part of the Stratford first junior football team, both at the Imperial Hotel and in the publicstreets of New Plymouth, on the 20t!i inst., this committee having called fo'evidence from both sides, and having held a full inquiry into the same, tinl that the charges arc in no way substantiated." A hearty vote of thanks was tendered to Mr. T. C. Fookes, president, for conducting the inquiry, after Which the meeting terminated.

SOUTHERN DIVISION. For the southern division senior championship, Kaponga defeated Hawera by 6 points to 0. Waimate juniors defeated Alton b; 15 points to 0, and Okaiawa accounted for Hawera by II- points to 0. In the second junior competition, Okaiawa defeated Waimate by 15 to 5, flawera forfeiting to Kaponga.
