THE EMPLOYERS' ATTITUDE. London, May .10. The coalmbsters in Scotland decline to cancel the demand for a reduction in wages of sixpence u day, though the National Federation erf Labor in Britain is backing the men. Recently the 'Scottish Miners' Federation refused to accept a reduction of I -'/!' -per cent. The representatives of Mie coalinas'tcivt and the men afterwards discussed Wie matter, )mt failed to agree. Eight thousand miners are affected.
