A SUNDER CASE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. At the Supreme Court to-day Harnotlt Dingle sought to recover from Henry Toonan the sum of £250 damages for alleged slander. Mr. J R Reed who appeared for the plaintiff' s atcd that the plaintiir, a widow, was the.proprietress of the railway hotel at Drury, and that the defendant Honrv or Harry Toonan was a farmer at Pahiatua.
