THE NGAMOTU CLUB. The mixed foursomes, postponed from the previous week on account of rain, was played on Saturday last. There was a record vnlry of .)2 players, the winners being -Miss Bcwlcy and Hansel. The following are the first eigiit scores, 13 holes being played:—
There will be matches to-day (Whit Monday) against teams from Waitara and Inglewood, and on Thursday next a strong Hawjera team will be entertained. F. S. Johns has this year won the Xgamotu Challenge Trophy, which was presented by Dr. Walker in 1000. Previous winners of the trophy are: 11. C. Wright, 1900; J. W. Johnson, 11)01: * Walker, 1902; G. H.
