Thc usual monthly meeting was held in the Baptist Church on Wednesday, with a fair attendance. After the opening evereises three new members were welcomed into thc union. The president (Mrs. Brasli) was warmly welcomed! back from her holiday trip. Correspondence was read from the auxiliary unions in reierenee*to the District Convention to be held ill New Plymouth during the visit of Mrs. Stevenson' (worMia missionary). It was decided to form districts, in each of which a vWting member be appointed to visit those members who are unable to attend the monthly meeting in town. She will also arrange the home meetings to lie held in tilicse districts. The first home meeting will be lirid at Fitzroy at the house of a member who has kindly lent her dining-room for the purpose.
