A STABBING AFFRAY.
QUARREL IN A BOADINGIIOUSE. I A MAX 'ARRESTED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. PeU'i- Williamson Tait was arrested to-night in Cambridge Terrace on * charge of stabbing a man named David McC'oll. It is *aid the men were in a boardinghoiKe in Cambridge Terrace and that a (iiiarrel took place, ending in Tate drawing a pocket knife and stabbing McColl sevvai or eight times in the face and bode.
A doctor ordered McColl's immediate removal to the hospital, where it was found his condition was so serious that the doctor would not allow him to make any statement regarding the occurrence
