Dr. McArthur, S.M., uenvereu ,»moment to-day in the case Inspector of Awards v. .Uenhard, a claim for A! 10, the penalty for an alleged breach of the Wellington bakers' award in connection with the payment of overtime. The Magistrate held tiiat the wages paid were substantially those the men were entitled to. He regretted that such cases' should come before the court, as it was such pinpricks that caused friction between employer and employed. Judgment was given for defendant.
