♦ ■ The Xaranaki Education Board commenced its usual monthly meetiug'laot night, Present: Messrs Jas. Wade (chairman), G. A. Adlam, J. D. Morison, H. Trimble, W. Rogers, W. L. Kennedy, H. Faull, and A. Morton. CHAIRMAN'S BEPOBT. The chairman reported the following appointments since- last meeting:— Omata, head teacher, Mr. M. Mev'cnbera; Lincoln, head teacher, Mr. I'. J.*(Jumberworth; Bird, head teacher, Miss L. M. Brewer; York, sole teacher, Mrs. Benjamin; Central, female assist, Miss Ji Kountree; Waitara, M!ss E. Pearce. Temporary appointment had been ma'de as follows:—Tututawa, Air. K. C. Templer; Waiongoaa, Miss B: Black; West End, Miss H. Brunton; Central, Miss Henderson. Mr. Moore, working overseer, had taken up his duties. The Taranaki Daily News' tender for printing the annual report was the lowest, and had been accepted.—The reDort was adopted. ' ARCHITECTS' KEPOKT. The architects reported that repairs had been effected at various schools. At Huiakama the residence was complete!, and wad now occupied. At Wlwngamomona the contractor preferred not to b e relieved of the contract, and had been required to complete the work within two months from acceptance of tender.— The report was adopted. FINANCE COMMITTEE. The Financ c Committee reported on matters which had been referred to them.
