SIR ROBT. STOUT INTERVIEWED
London, May 24. Sir Robert Stout, Chief Justice of Xew Zealand, in the course of an interview by tlie Chronicle, staled that from his New Zealand experience he strongly favored a tax on the unimproved land, and a super-tax on large owners. It would be short-sighted and wicked of the County Council lo sell the adopt the Glasgow lease sys'tera.
Sir Robert advocated the granting of votes to men and women at the age of 21 years.
