Now York, May 24. A dry goods trust with a capital of £10,000,001) has been formed in America. It includes eight of the largest department "stores, embracing the JI. B. Claflin, O'Neill, and the Adams and MoCreary companies. There is a prospect that there will be no interference with the 'essential principles of the tariff. The trust has given confldencu to American industry, which is' beginning to exhibit expansion.
