MR. McNAß'ij CAMPAIGN. Uy.Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. Mr. Robert McNab addressed an audience which completely filled Uie cnoral Hall to-night, on the question of thi defence of the Dominion, in the course of which he advocated universal military training. He was listened to attentively throughout and frequently applauded, and at the conclusion there was continued applause and cheers. The speaker did not submit a motion to the audience on the subect of his address, but a very enthusiastic vote of thanl-s was accorded him on the motion of Lieut.-C'olonel Hon. E. G. J. Smith. The Mayor presided, and on the platform were a number of city councillors and prominent volunteer officers.
