HOCKEY.

An important meeting of the Taranaki Hockey Association will be held tomorrow evening. The following notices of motion will be discussed:—(l) That each dub pay £1 Is affiliation fee to the association, and that an-'entrance fee of 10s be charged for each team competing in cup competitions. (2) That any club entering two teams in the competition have two representatives on. the association. (3) That the Taranaki, Association's competition oe divided into two divisions, the northern division comprising the New Plymouth, Cnrrington Road, and Inglewood Clubs and the southern division the Stratford, Elthain, and Hawera Clubs. Tlie last-named, concerning the division of teams, will of course be subjc 't as the meeting may decide. The New Plymouth East and Hawera teams have agreed to postpone next Wednesday's ■ fixture, pending the decision of the association regarding north and south division competitions.
