IXEJV ZEALAND COUNCIL. .MEETING. Bv Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. At a meeting of the New Zealand Council of the Amateur Athletic Association, n letter was considered from the Chris'tcliurch Council offering to hand over the hooks and funds of the. Association upon receipt of a letter indemnifying the members of the old Council against any liability in connection with the Association. The WcllingUrn centre wrote complaining that the Cliristuhurch Council had been spending the Association funds sine,, till' commencement of the disturbance that ended in the election of a new Council. It was resolved that the question of indemnity will he considered upon receipt of the property of the Association.

The applications bv Henry Peebles, of Hamilton, and Frederick Sed'don, of J\'angniiui, for reinstatement were granted.
