Wellington, May 14. At the meeting of the Xcw Zealand Rugby Union, the profits of the British team's lour were allocated as follows: Auckland £4B, Buller £42, Bush 35, Canterbury £'4B, Ilawkcs Bay £4B, Horowhen.ua £2O, Manawatu £35, Marlborough £2O, Nelson £42, Poverty Bay, £35, South Canterbury £.42, Southland £35, Xaranaki £4O, Wairarapa £35, Wanganui £43, Wellington £4B, West Coast £.42. The affiliation of a South Auckland Rugby Union, including the Rotorua and Waikato sub-unions, was granted by 33 votes to 20. It was decided to allocate £IOO for the encouragement of school football. The meeting ended at 1 a.m.

SATURDAY ASSOCIATION,

At u meeting of the Management Committee of the New Plymouth Saturday Rugby Association to consider the framing of rules and by-laws and to arra-ige the cup fixtures for the season, there were present Messrs. Dixon (Rovers), Robinson (Civil Service), Stohr (Warehouses), Green (Guards), and Johns (lion, secretary and treasurer). It was decided to play under the New Zealand Rugby Union's rules, and that a copy of the Association's rules and by-laws be sent to each alliliateu ciub. r.ntrics for the Saturday contest were received from four clubs—Rovers, Civil Service, Guards and Warehouses—but as it is probable that at least two more teams will enter, the date for closing entries was postponed indefinitely. For the same reason the cup fixtures were not finally arranged, but it was decided to open the season on Saturday,' May 22, when Rovers meet Warehousemen on the Recreation Ground, and Guards play Civil Service oil the Racecourse.

THURSDAY'S MATCHES, The following arc additional results of Thursday's matches:— 'SECOND GRADE. A very close game was played at Clifton between Inglcn-ond and Clifton juniors, tile visitors winning by 3 points to nil. Karalus scored a try in the first spell. Mr. J. Way refereed. Eltliam Juniors' beat Stratford by 3 to 0.

THIRD GRADE. Stratford second juniors soundly beat the Eltham team by 20 to 3. The winners giivo a fine.exh'ibition, but the losers were decidedly off.
