A MURDEROUS SYRIAN.
ATTACKS A TEAMSTER, Sydney, May 13. A teamster named Finnegan crawled under a house at Keefton with terrible wounds iu his head „u<t is now in a critical condition. It is stated that a Syrian attacked liim with an axe, with the supposed intention of robbing hiin. A heap of wood was collected near the scene of the attack. n It is believed that tin* Syrian mean to cremate Finnegan's body. The Syrian lias not yet been captured, though lie is suffering from a shot wound inflicted by one of his pursuers, AX ARREST .MADE. Received 14, 0.60 a.m. Sydney, May 13. A man has been arrested'in connection with the Rcefton case. Finnegan saye his assailant was an Englishman.
