AMATEUR CONTROL. By Association. Christehurch, Last Night. At a meeting on Monday, the committee of the Council of the Xew Zealand Amateur Athletic Union unanimous'}' agreed: "That a majority of the centres having failed to rtiply to the circular letter of April 20th,' the Council resolves to hand over to the newly-appointed president of tlie X'ew Zealand Amateur Athletic Vnion all hooks, papers, ami the balance <>f funds held by the Association, together with a certified balancesheet, upon receipt of a letter indemnifying the members of the Council aguia-t any liability iu connection with the Association, and that Mr. Atack be authorised to take the necessary steps to carry this out."
