, One hundred and sixteen Labor Irish Commoners' memorialised Mr. Asquith on I behalf of the deported Indians. Mr. Asquith, in reply, said an appeal was natural, and that he would not .be surprised if it were widely and iniluintially supported. Tile Secretary of State and the Government of India, however, were the only judges in the matter.
