Bcrengaria, Lamsdorff, Shannon Lass' and Tangeroa 6.7, At a meeting of the committee of the Patea Racing Club on Tuesday evening last, it was resolved that a hearty vote of thanks be accorded Mr. A. W. Budge for his services as starter at the - recent meeting, and that he be asked to allow himself to he made a life member of the Patea Racing Club. It was decided that donation's of £3 3s and £2 2s be granted to Messrs J. Sutton and A. Morse for services rendered at the recent raco meeting, the financial statement of wihch showed a profit of £392. The secretary explained ttiat this was' not inclusive of the amount taken by the Railway Department.
