At the Aihlington live slock market on Wednesday there was a large yarding of almost all classes n't stock, and a good attendance. Fat cattle were dull of sale at the previous week's prices. Store sheep were not in epiile such good demand, and fat lambs were easier, while pigs were als o weaker in price. Fat wethers, except heavv weight*. Mho wed a reduction in values. Store cattle met with , t poor sale, but good dairy cows were in brisk demand. The entry of store sheep showed a further reduction in numbers. Prices tor best wethers were better than last week, and for medium quality wei;e much the same an late rate*. Best wethers made 15s (Id to 16s 9d (extra to IDs'), medium and good 14s Ikl to Lis, best ~wes lis fid to 13s (extra to Lis), medium and good 8s fid to 9s 3d, inferior 5s to (Is lid.
There was a medium yarding of good quality land*. Prices were a shade firmer. Best \vethers made 12s to 13s (extra 14s lid), medium to good 10s 9d to 12s, inferior Bs' lolls 3d.
For young pigs prices were a shadj easier, owing to tile extremely large entry. Porkers and baeonors also suffered to the extent of %A per lb. Suckers made lis fid to 12s, slip* 13s to 15s, stores 18s to 235, porkers 34s' to 38s, light baeoners 43s to 40s, heavy 48s 10 535.
