Duncdin, Last Night. At the Police Court this-morning amy Bock was charged with haviii" made a false declaration to the registrar of marriages at Romahapa, with having obtained £ sl from Miss Henderson by means of false pretences, and with having obtained £lO from B. S. Irwin bv means of false pretences. Accused pleaded guilty, and was committed to tne Supreme Court for sentence. She said it was no use expressing regret, -.is she would not be believed. She wished to thank the Press for remembering, notwithstanding what she had done, that she was n woman. Bail was refused.
