Laws from the active work of a local preacher through growing physical infirmity, and that this meeting places on record an expression of the affectionate regard and high esteem which Mr. Laws has earacd throughout a long and honorable career as a local preacher for forty-nine years in the Old Country and this' Dominion."
Mr. D. M. Luckie, late Deputy (Joinnii.ssioner of the Government Life Insurance Department, died at Wellington last night. Deceased retired from the service last July.
