HOCKEY.
CARIUXGTON ROAD CLUB. The annual meeting or the Carring- , ton Road Club was held on Wednesday, Mr. George Hudson being in the chair. The balance-sheet showed a good credit balance. The following oll'icei's were elected for the ensuing year:—Captain, Mr. A. Marett; secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. W. McEwen; auditor, Mr. 11. W., Saxt'iii; delegate to Taranaki Hockey Assocation, Mr. W. H. l'erliiim; general committee, Messrs. li. Bayly, (I. Hudson, E. Foot, W. Taylor, A. Marett and W. Mclwcn; selection committee, the captain ami Messrs. 11. McEwen and W. 11. Pertain. Mr. C. Jordan was nominated as referee. The annual subscription was fixed at It. The New Plymouth Club will place East and West teams in the field this season, the boundary line decided on being Clover street from the sea to Pcndarves street, thence to Liardet street to the Recreation grounds gate.
