THE OLD, OLD STORY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. A girl named Elizabeth L. Greenwood died to-day under peculiar circumstances at Panmurc. The deceased, who was under sixteen years of age, was a witness in a case against a man named Frank Tate, who is to come up ior tri-il on a charge of bavin? had improper relations with her while she was under age. A constable, received a message this morning to the effect that the girl had been suddenly taken ill) and on visiting the house he found her in a very low state.
