The Postmaster at Levin telegraphs to the secretary of the Chief I'ost Office that the constable sent to Hokio beach returned to-day ami reports a barque is apparently aground. He could not distinguish anything by which the barqi:e could he identified. Throe steamers were close to her, lull seemed unable to g.'t the bari|Ue of!'. A moderate sea \v: s running, with a considerable swell, but otherwise the weather was tine, 'i'iierc was no wind. Another constable has been sent to the beach.
