Sydney, April 24. After re-tittinir. the Xi in rod proceeded to .\laci|itarie Island lo collect specimens and also to investigate other subAntarctic islands whose position or existence are obscure. She will endeavor to locate Knierahl Island, the Xinirod ji'roup, and Dougherty Island. The work is to .be in charge of Captain Davis.
