A NEW DREDGE ORDERED, The Harbor Board yesterday cabled acceptance of Messrs Fleming and Ferguson's (Glasgow) tender for a newdredge. The price is £33.0110, and the dredge is to .be delivered at New Plymouth in ten mouths from date. Pending further advice from Mr. Marcliaut. the Board's engineer, it is not quite clear what kind of dredge it is, but presumably it is to he a bucket and suction dredge, which will not only break up the lianl bottom of the harbor, but also pump up the sand.
