LOCAL OPTION.
1 DRAFTING THE QUEENSLAND BILL. Received 22,, 0.20 p.m. Brisbane, April 22. A report prepared by Police-Magist-trate Ranking upon the New Zealand licensing law has been submitted to the Chief Secretary. The contents were not divulged, but it is understood that it is adverse to the New Zealand prohibition laws. The work of drafting the Licensing Bill for submission for the next session is progressing. .
