By Telegraph.—Press Association. j Woodvllle, Last Night. I A slip came down on the railway Una 1 in the Manawatu Gorge this morning i after the morning tram to Palmerston J got through. The slip delayed t'ae mid- <m day and also the 2 o'clock trains from 1 Palmertson. The line wa« cleared about J 4.30, which enabled passengers by both '* trains to reach Woodvllle station about five o'clock. A large number of passcn- , gets en route to Auckland had to wait at Woodville until the line was cleared. Heavy rain for the past'twenty-four ;j hours has made the rivers very high, and ,J a great body -of water is going dowa | the Jlanawatu. | TRAFFIC SUSPENDED FOR THREE 1 HOURS.
