Bates' weather forecast to 3 p.m. to-morrow:—Moderate to strong wesU'rty winds are probable north of Auckland, but expect high westerly winds elsewhere and probably veering to southerly withing 36 hours, the barometer falling generally. In the meantime rain and cloudy weather is probable everywhere and colder shortly.
