Sydney, April 20. liic Labor Conference endorsed -Mr. t3isUer*3 naval policy, and rejected an amendment proposed by Mr. Bowling that the naval subsidy to Britain be withdrawn, and that a complete system of military training be inaugurated for defence purposes on purely volunteer lines, and under democratic control. The mover said lie disliked Mp. Fisher's policy as much as any put forward by a capitalistic Government. Mr. Fisher's Government, he said, was not properly representative of the workers.
