The directors of the Taranaki Petroleum Co, Land ns (he following report: AVork a! Xo. 2 bore has li.tii going on satisfactorily, and since Tuesday last :!0 barrels of oil have been procured. The manager has now got a much belter system of separating the oil from the sill. Mr. Simpson considers thai the production of the Well is at present about 10 'barrels per dav. but he also considers that Ihe possibilities of the well are by no means exhausted, and that with further- testing it will prove more proilnrtlre.
